Sheree blatently lied and made promises she couldn’t keep to our customers and now, we get to deal. That’s fine. The house is officially on fire over complete stupidity. I think we have officially reached critical mass. RUN NOW.

And the s*** storm continues. I think the hammer drops come January. No way we can sustain the status quo. What happened? 9 years ago, everything was awesome. After the murder(Merger) fell through, everything was great and then.....total garbage. I still don’t understand how such a good thing could go so bad so fast? Who else is “shopping”?

What now? And for all you seasoned US vets, is this not the first time they are trying to deploy centralized replenishment? Has anyone's DC fully recovered since it came into play for them?

We had centralized purchasing in the Jim Miller era when US Foodservice was formed in 1997. It was a nightmare. Corporate sent products that didn't necessarily work in our market. We were paying I don't know how much in rent for outside storage.

I understand central purchasing for Heinz, Ecolab, Nestle's and other national brand items. But, to use it for fresh produce, dairy and protein makes no sense. How is some person in Rosemont supposed to know what's needed in Des Moines or Corona or Seattle?

The local purchasing people became inventory clerks.

The big exodus of salespeople will come after the new pay plan is fully implemented in January. That's when credit card service charges and rebates will star being deducted from TM pay. Adding that into the loss of business deductions thanks to the scumbags in Congress will be a big hit for many TMs.

I look for a lot of independent distributors to increase their presence in many markets as reps leave so they can make a living. Many customers will leave, too. Better prices, less BS, better delivery schedules.

Pietro and the brain trust in Rosemont shot themselves in the foot.

Well, it looks like the great Pontificator is leaving Sysco San Diego and heading to Hamilton meats. Start packing your overnight bag and don't forget to pack your Tooth brush and Tooth-fairy Tooth paste. Good Luck Hamilton, get ready for given away the farm. Can't wait to see the Padres and Chargers logo on the Hamilton truck.

Happy Trails,

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

When you lose an account who is your former employer.....sinking ship. If you take an objective look, it makes sense. Customers are smart. They know what’s up.

Who lost business? You personally or the Division as a whole?

Down 90% off expectations. Totally winning! I think things will look drastically different come the end of the fiscal year. Affirmative action, has failed miserably in crown town. Bet the one at the helm, doesn’t even know what crown town is.

IKnow, how many TMs have left for greener pastures? Has Sherree really screwed the pooch in Corona? How soon before Corona is folded back into La Mirada?
