Jeff Bezos understands how to take what the customer has already shown they want, then develop new business-models to maximize on how to deliver those things to them.

Pietro thinks that by developing "tools', that USF can somehow alter the customer perception of how foodservice should be done.

It's clear which way is working - and which way is not.

It's a simple business, Pietro; have the correct product in stock, priced correctly, on the truck and at the customer's door when you've agreed to deliver it.  If you can't do that right, who cares what your online ordering system looks like or what new products or brands you are trying to peddle.

There it is. That's value added for most customers. Why is that so hard to understand?

And, the hits just keep on coming.

Pretty soon, USF will close Corona and San Diego and ship everything from La Mirada. All that will be left will be National Account customers and locally-managed TM business that is too big to move.

My friend said that 10 more corona MA's are going to quit in the next few weeks. She has been correct about everything so far. Apparently Graylon was telling customers that the Corona VP won't be around much longer. I hope things get better for them. I don't like for this to happen to anyone.

It looks like Janis is going to move her whole team from shamrock to USF corona. I bet Shamrock won't be happy about that.

Hey JimMTN, why do you keep calling them MA's? You're a TM out of corona, aren't you?

How many people is that? And why are they moving?

Tick Tock. For the Corona VP....also, talk about grasping at straws. Sending out people who don’t even work or live in the area to counter what is happening, because all the fancy pants “leaders” never bothered to learn Corona is just sad. I can’t figure out how things got like this? I know San Diego thinks they are closing, I’d say look north for that....🌪🌪🌪🌪

Corona may be sacrificed on the altar of shareholder dividends. TMs who left will probably take most of their business with them except for those USF products that can't be matched up.

Maybe San Diego will finally be able to move out of their maxxed out warehouse in Vista to a larger warehouse elsewhere.

At which point USF won't need any salespeople.

US Foods is old news, it's time that Steve humphrey's takes the fall for all the bad decisions that have taken place under his watch. Just take one look at San Diego over the past two plus years and now look at Corona. This is what happens when you put non sales leaders to run a company.

  • The Gray Hound in LA needs to go
  • The Hottie in Corona is over her head and has no clue
  • The ventriloquist in San Diego is just waiting to get back to Florida

Bring back the people that made the company great. It's time to swallow your pride and fill the building with the right people.

Sincerely,
Veteran TM's from San Diego

A second DSM left Corona today along with another TM in San Diego.

This is the beginning. More will be leaving once the new pay plan starts 7/1.
