I just got a phone call from a customer saying no one has called him since I was laid off. He said he was going with Sysco 100%. Great job US Foods. I’m sure he is of many customers that will switch to the competition to get better service. Good luck US Foods.

I gained 45 accounts from the layoffs and I have called, emailed, and text my number to every one of them to make sure they had my contact.  Its been a super stressful time to try and get all this done and maintain service levels.

I spoke with one of my former comrades at La Mirada. She inherited two of my best accounts when I retired. She was let go, and the accounts were given to a rookie just out of training. One I had for 35 years, the other for over 20. I'm sure our competitors will love picking up almost $50,000/month in business.
