It's been quiet for a while, so lets get it started......

My boss is such an a** h***. He never worked as a sales rep, a DSM or a Regional.  He went from Corp Chef to VP of sales, and he doesn't have a new idea to save his life.  What a looser a** kiss, and down right dumb.

I have learned over the years that anyone above your DSM is pretty much worthless. Regional VPs  are only concerned about big business and big writers.

I have worked for every kind of DSM. Supportive, dismissive, micro-managers, no follow through.

Just ignore your A**H*** VP of Sales. After all, how much personal face-to-face do you have with him?

It never seems fair and it is painful to watch, but the non producing management people we deal with from day to day do eventually get what they deserve. Unless it is a family business........ those situations are hard to deal with. But most non producers can only take credit for others work for so long before they are uncovered as the frauds that they really are. The question is, how long can you or your team stay working under people like this?

You are right Rat. One of these threads mentioned a "Dragon Lady" or "Black Widow". I have seen many of these women end up in positions they do not deserve to be in,..... because of situations they should not have been in. Sleeping to the top hurts the ones who play it by the book.
