You guys!
We are thinking of moving back to New England! 

Any leads on decent opportunities?!?!

New England is a pretty big area.  If you can narrow it down to at least a state or two - or the geographical part, then I'll send you a list of companies.

Avoid USF and Sysco like the plague. They are going from foodservice distribution to consulting. Both companies are going to market pushing BOH and FOH systems. Food is secondary. Both are also using "Big Brother" CRM software to keep track of their reps. Sysco will actually call MAs to ask why they have moved in "X" amount of time.

Find a local independent distributor. Less bureaucracy, more selling and better margins.

I speak from personal experience having gone from an indpendent to a mid-range distributor to one of the monoliths.

Whole heartedly agree

I work for an indie now and would like to find something more specialty even

My area of expertise is natural, organic, kosher, unique stuff. Fine dining, local foods yada yada
