Hey everyone -

I’m hearing that Sysco and US Foods both just awarded plant based burgers and chicken nuggets to someone. Any idea who won at each?

Yeah, I know but what does it matter! It's not beyond though!

Probably Impossible. Much more meat-like than Beyond.

FYI, I had Carl's Jr/Hardee's Beyond Thickburger a few days ago. No comparison to Burger King's Impossible Whopper. You could tell it was "fake' by the color (kind of reddish-orange) and taste.

I always believed that national chains wanted "proprietary" products so that they controlled what their consumers "wanted" ? It also helped justify 8% franchise fees against sales. But national chains rarely if ever bought off the shelf products and for obvious reasons. But here they all are buying some Matrix burgers that some wild eyed Charles Manson devotee from Silicon Valley is pushing? Crazy----

It shows you just how much influence Prince Phillip and the Royal Family still have in this once great nation. They think American's should eat "yeast compounds" and get rid of all animal based agriculture because of cow farts that are creating "global warming" my Dear Chaps.  One day soon they'll just starve us out, cull the herd so to speak.

Has America gone insane?

Plant based foods story by "Wired" Magazine of all publications. This is the wacko group of Stewart Brand , Steve Jobs, and other mind benders, hippies, dope fiends and Charles Manson acolytes.
