How much longer do you think this company has left. They have been closing warehouse left and right. Also I have not hear of them buying another company out, and there parent company seem more interested in MB, and the beverage side of it.
As far as warehouses that closed I know they closed Jacksonville fl, Atlanta ga, another on up in Illinois I also hear that they closed on in Ohio and soon closing the one in Kentucky Kentucky

I saw a lot of their trucks on the road in Illinois and Virginia. I'm not sure where they're shipping from.

They still have a pretty decent presence in the upper Midwest. A fair amount of houses between WI, MN and IA. Low quality of goods provider, though they used to be a low cost option as well but not so much anymore as their prices have drastically gone up over the past couple of years. Not too many chef-driven or quality-driven establishments entertain them simply due to their lackluster product offerings.

I see them a lot in Virginia. I think people use them to back up USF or Sysco. They're probably more responsive to off-day deliveries and emergencies than the Big Boys.

They are a hybrid distributor servicing both the street and chain customers depending on the market. My impression is they are working on a comeback or at least trying to up the value for a future sell off.
They've been offering some stout sign on bonuses for drivers in a few markets although the sign ons are starting to thaw for many, at least until the spring when things wind back up.

My sense is that it's a comeback, and it's coming from the C-Suite with a focus on getting stronger division-level leadership in place. They may not be a "high end" distributor, but they're putting together a good set of presidents in a lot of markets and doubling down on building strong operating companies (instead of hyper-centralizing).
