Why is it that all the little low volume, far away and sometimes also too low margin accounts are the biggest P.I.T.A.??! Also the accounts I seem to make the most errors with! WTF. Returns, credits, complaints about deliveries, how infrequent they see me, yada yada. argh.

I hear ya! We can only hope they balance the other little guy accounts we have that are easy, friendly and profitable. Gotta be a balance

These are the accounts that always complain about how much higher we are than the local cash-and-carry. I have them order and pay online. They get one delivery day a week with an eight-hour window.

Northernms, are there other vendors in this account? 

Either way, raise the price on them.  The account will become profitable aka worth the time or it will go away.  

If it goes away, you can devote your time else-wear and I'm sure the low volume wont hurt your case goal at the end of the year.

Just saying... ain't nobody got time fo dat!

One called my boss to complain they never see me... 
He told me to cut them loose LOL
