Saw that coming. They will be a good partner for Cheney! They will continue to grow and be a much larger player.

CD&R bought Kraft Food Service from Phillip Morris and renamed it Alliant. Then CD&R got together with KKR and merged Alliant with USF. KKR recently invested serious money in USF. Is there another CD&R/KKR marriage in the future?

If it gets good, Byron may cash out! Cheney has grown fast quick! Lot of moving parts but hey, 2020 has been crazy as hell anyway!!

Sysco has 4 DC’s and a redistribution center in FL, not sure Cheney owns the state outright

Their new investors will not tolerate the old shenanigans like giving everything away and having strippers at food shows...time to operate like a business

Oh My Goodness will Sysco Sales Rep's ever stop accusing other Reps of giving products away? Decades, all across the country, Sysco MA's that can't win business accuse their competition of always just giving things away LOL. Maybe look at what your own house puts your Base at, or maybe research the Marketing they Jack people up on lol.

Doesn’t matter the company, everyone is guilty of that.  Doesn’t do anyone any good to point fingers.  Right now we all have to help our customers survive.  Our companies are all making changes to survive and thrive.  If you don’t change and evolve you die on the vine... Kodak anyone?  Sears?

You wouldn't believe the BS Sysco MAs were spouting during the USF/Sysco "merger".

"You might as well start ordering from me. I'll be your rep after the merger."

"None of products will change. We use the same packers."

"You're only getting seven-day terms from US? We'll give you NET 45."

Among others.

Again same thing... DSRs at other companies are out there right now saying things negatively toward SYS because of their re-org to customers trying to get their business.  More finger pointing.
