To everyone here. The big dawgs will still get taken care of... it’s the mid to entry level writers that are screwed on this. I believe this plan will show everyone’s true colors. It’s a hard pill to swallo, but do you roll with the punches or is this the end of glorified food sales position. I still love my job and the flexibility. However... we gotta put food on our tables.. Sysco showed it’s true colors with this plan. Most of us are numbers

Sales producers will be taken care of. Grow your sales and you will be fine.

I’m curious if we don’t sign the covenant, will we be fired or will that be considered quitting. Quite honestly unemployment will pay more for the next six weeks at least. I’m skilled in other jobs. My territory has gotten so big but only just blossomed into a 100,000$ territory in December. The averaging of the whole year genuinely screwed me. It’s too much of a headache for Level 1 and the cap is ridiculous

Everyone is getting hosed on this plan. From tier 1 to tier 4 the majority of the people will make significantly less. If Houston feels too many people are leaving (only reason why they are giving 50% bonus for 3 months to slow that bleeding) they will adjust their bonus criteria to be more obtainable. Head count freeze till July 31st makes them vulnerable if more than expected leave.

Of course... in sales thats the name of the game.. However when you cap a sales potential and is expected to grow month over month to hit bonus it'll be difficult even for the best reps.

You come off one of the best period EVER, and to hit 100 or 150% bonus you have to beat that.. Its kind of crazy

curious to see what this bonus structure is going to be like. Also the forms we need to sign are due BEFORE the bonus structure comes out? Sounds kinda backwards no?

It also protects the associate from the unexpected, big account loss, disasters, etc. how many times has a sales rep been picked off by a competitor and cried because their pay impact is going to be negatively impacted....The company’s does the right most of time only to do a post analysis to find out that the sales rep wasn’t looking out for the customers best interest. Change is rarely received positively. Sucks to have to agree to a pay change in order to keep your job tho.

At USF and Sysco corporate bonuses and shareholder dividends are more important than sales force compensation.

so we have about 24 hours to sign these docs.

how are you guys feeling? For me i'm a newer M.A. I know my worth and my value to this company. I can open businesses and really help customers. I was stuck in a LEVEL 1 plan with the cap of making just over 71k in my 2nd year.

I feel bad cause i hear of 3-5year MA's stil on level 1. Yes you work hard and you level up etc. but why do we have to gamble with bonuses and our livelyhood?

Not to mention does anyone know the breakdown of what we will be taxed on this so called "BONUS?"

I signed mine because what choice do we have? I'll eat their sh*t for now. But I'm definitely tightening up the resume and looking for other opportunities. All this seems a little fishy to me. No idea what the bonuses are... No idea as to what we need to do to level up. How am I supposed to work toward a goal if i don't know what that goal is?

CEO or VPs taking a pay cut is BS.
They will get their money some other way, stock options or bonus.

Bezos has 100k salary. Pocket change.

THE PAY IS SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! In meetings that were had Thursday and Friday, the new Comp Plan rolled out  In the next phase you were given a new covenant (non-compete) to sign and told if you had to sign it before you would see how bonus was going to be paid.   By yesterday 6/15  morning a letter from Greg Bertrand had to be sent out that guaranteed the lowest tier bonus for everyone in periods 1 2 and 3. 50% level.

Here is some truth for you.  This was always going to happen.  COVID turned a 3 year plan into a 3 month plan.  Sysco has used this time as the perfect excuse to put this into play.  Its so funny to me that there are people on here who could even defend this.  You are being paid less weekly than  you were.

Anything pre-COVID is history.  You got screwed on your take home pay once again.  Now you make less weekly, but the carrot dangled in front of you is the new bonus grid.  So you can make 50% bonus (this is less than what you made pre-COVID)  100%-( on-target- about the same as what you made)  and 150% (more than you made).  Most will not hit the 150% level moving bonus targets.

So tell me again how many of you made your bonus every month on this last commission plan?  What is the criteria (we hope to give you that number by week 2 of the previous period, but we need to be fluid).

Oh wait, they give you 3600 in Car Allowance, or $138.46 per pay period.  How is that going to be taxed?  But wait, there's more!  Here's an iPhone 7 on us!  Now you wont be monitored or anything with this, we promise...............  [rolleyes]

So glad i got out..............

This is absolutely ridiculous. I have been with the company since early 2000. Hard working, sales driven ... heck I remember when I had my first 100k week. You know what I don't remember??? When I got paid this little. This is horribly demoralizing. I have never felt more like my work ethic and drive is worthless to a company. I'll be lucky to clear 50+ after taxes and I was a solid 6 figure take home sales rep for YEARS. YEARS!!! I loved that I controlled my pay. It's sad to see my sales every week right now during Covid and I am already selling what I did year prior. 58k went out on today's trucks. Sysco Corp is building a culture of solid mediocrity and I hope they are happy with that. I'll take the phone and use it solely for when I have to call the 877 customer service number that way I can sit for 30 minutes waiting for a pick up and I can continue on selling to make no money.
