Now you know what suppliers feel like when calling to get updates on their payments.

"Check was mailed 2 weeks ago.  Please, don't hold those trucks.  I promise to get you an update on Monday."

That is unfortunate. Hopefully they will overnight you a replacement check. That is my only complaint with the process is the CRS's unwillingness to give real time updates. I bet i called the number 60 times

My husband called this morning and they said he was not eligible.  She said that you had to quit before 2014, which he did.  He has buddys that are eligible that quit before and after him and some that were there longer than him.  He was there over 10 years.  Does anyone have a legit answer as to why some are qualified and some are not.  Is it the amount maybe that is there pension and there is a cut off amount?  Would like some answers if anyone knows.

I worked for Sysco for over 25+ in every management position. Here's your answer. Those who are not 100% vested are receiving buyouts. They no longer want to keep them on the books. So if you have less than 100% you're getting a buyout. Simple!

Yeah got a package in the mail couple few weeks ago. Look at doing a lump sum offer. Did 10 years left into 2010. Reason I have not done is because it said in offer if you take lump sum they could possibly resind(cancel) the offer. Have never even heard of that before. Either they do or don’t?

Yes. Five years is vested. But I think he means fully vested by fully retired.

Did anyone else get an early lump sum pension offer in the mail a few weeks back I would take the lump sum just because I could put it toward property. Even though it would be taxed. ? Just questioning whether to do it. Getting ready to buy vacation camp. In the letter it states that they can resend it. Don’t want to do if we can’t count on it. What y’all‘s thoughts? Has anyone ever heard of it being rescinded? Just seems kind of weird

I worked for Sysco, Alliant and US. I recieved lump sum payouts last month from all 3. I elected to take it and roll them over to a self directed IRA.

New to sales… That is crazy. I guess all companies are doing it. I got another letter from them today. Just saying that they got my paperwork. It also says that they could still rescind The offer. Has anyone ever heard of this? They said that they have a cap?sysco folks that got theirs in the past, did you ever hear of anything like this? It literally asked you if you want to roll over your money, lump sum or wait. But then it says they could rescind the offer.
