I have to agree. I've been on this site almost since it was started. There used to be freewheeling discussions about Sysco and USF trying to screw workers and customers. Lots of back and forth about commission changes (FSR got one set of changes stopped, if I remember correctly).

I'm not really interested in the stuff Bresford posts. I want to hear about how companies are trying to screw their reps and how people are fighting back. I want to hear how much people ABSOLUTELY HATE CRM (Salesforce, Linc, Constant Comment). I want hear and dish dirt on management, After all, this is FOODSERVICE RUMORS.

In 100% agreement.

I really enjoyed it back in the early 2000s, when it was a free-form discussion.  Not these individual stories/posts.

And I, too, want to hear about what's going on at the branch/division/op-co level, what corporate offices are behaving badly, and rumors about acquisitions and executives on the chopping block....

I agree with u all - I want to hear rumors, upcoming trends, company info., advice given and to give. I don't care if it's not in my area. I don't like these weird links with topics.

Anything is better than these dang links - go ahead dude, at least it would be interesting. I played a record backwards when I was a youngster, and fond of Iron Maiden.

There is a current band called Iced Earth, ever heard of them?

Based on the format the interest generated by the website is directly related to what is posted by the participants.  I only come by about once a month as I don't care to read rants and conspiracy theories about allegedly corrupt business models - I prefer to read industry news and rumors.

In other words, when conspiracy nut jobs post most of the content - garbage in - garbage out!

If you want to get more you need to give more ... plain and simple.  And for the record, the items posted by Steve are typically better than most of the conspiracy nonsense that ends up here.

So you think it's more interesting to tell us you're still on your regular menstrual cycle?

PS- I'll be happy to kick your ass in front of the membership for the umpteenth time. It's no problem believe me.

My DSR news is, I'm interviewing with a local produce company, and if they come within $10,000 of my current salary, I'm out of Broadline craziness
